Why developing technology already existing?
Very easy, this project originates from my lack of mechanical skills.
Why making it from wood and not a more stable material, such as aluminium?
I love the smell of wood and it is quiet easy to work with the tools I have at home. For metal I'd have to buy additional tools, I probably not use much for other projects.
